I've got 2 heroes that I look up to very much - and who have helped me to shape my life since I was a child - Medic Eugene Roe is one of those heroes.

When Band of Brothers came out, I was glued to my tv. When "Bastogne" aired, I was totally floored with how sad and beautiful and emotional that chapter was. Shane Taylor was the perfect actor for the part; the voice, the face, the character - just perfect.

I'm an EMT these days, and I'm studying to pass my Paramedic exam. If I can one day be even just an eighth of who Doc Roe was, I'll feel like I've definatly done something wonderful with my life. : )

If it's ok with you, I'll be using this stamp at the foot of my journal from now on. Thanks for making it. : )

I would love for you to use it! I completely agree, Eugene Roe is an inspirational man and I agree, Shane Taylor was perfect.
